Since January 2012 I have started freelancing, following the completion of my multimedia journalism degree at Canterbury Christ Church University.

Being able to source and adapt news for different platforms has never been more crucial. Years of training has taught Jamie how to appreciate news for different platforms, and how to approach them. From camera work through to shorthand, Jamie holds all the essential tools to be a true multimedia journalist - as well as a thirst for big news stories that matter to the audience. In 2010 Jamie completed a TV work placement with Sky News and a local print placement with Kent Regional News & Media (publishers of 'The News', 'East Kent Gazette' and 'Sheppy Gazette').
