3CTV News Programme

3CTV News is a name formed by my university lectures, representing the three Cs in the Canterbury Christ Church name and the simple 'TV' addition.

In my second year I got the presenter position which I think I did rather well for a first time, although there were the odd moments when I was clearly uncomfortable or off guard. I had to write my scripts myself, although the reporters wrote their links themselves. I came up with the format of the programme, starting with a stand, as well as editing a short introduction opener.

The programme was filmed 'as live' so you'll notice a few mistakes from the team in the gallery including loss of sound and an incorrect camera but we all got around it efficiently. The programme had to be under strict timing as in the industry, so we had to be exactly ten minutes - or be taken 'off air'.
